Connecting is one of, if not the most important things a church can provide. We can help you connect with God through Jesus Christ and we can help you connect with Christian friends. If you’re interested in giving back to the community or serving within the church we can connect you with like-minded people who are actively involved right now. Maybe you are in need of help. We can assist you in finding the help you need. Here is how you can start.   First, send us an e-mail at churchoffice@lccog.com or you can call us at 301-862-3831. Second, you can come to one of our services and speak to one of our Greeters, Ushers, or Ministers. They will be happy to help you connect.   Third, you can take advantage of this website. Check out our events calendar and the “New Here” page where you will find out how to provide us with your information so we can keep you informed. Once a month we hold a meet and greet after the Sunday morning 11 AM service. This is an opportunity for you to meet Pastor and Amber and ask them any questions you may have. Light refreshments are served. If you have not received an invitation to attend a meet and greet, please ask a member of our Usher & Greeter team and they can inform you about the date and location of the next one.   Membership is not necessary to fellowship, worship, partake in communion or serve at LCCOG. We welcome you warmly and openly “As Christ also received us to the glory of God.” (Romans 15:7). If you are interested in becoming a member of LCCOG we ask that you complete LCCOG 101 and LCCOG 201. Times and dates of new classes are announced on Sundays, in the newsletter and sign-up sheets are made available. LCCOG 101 – Introduction to LCCOG emphasizes who we are, what we believe and why; LCCOG 201 – Intentional and Deliberate Discipling will introduce you to church membership and discipleship.
